I can't believe there are already Christmas decorations up at Macy's. That said, I'm not surprised that a gigantic corporation is taking advantage of the largest consumer holiday, but ALREADY? CHRISTMAS!? We haven't even made it past Halloween or Thanksgiving and the red and white stripes were everywhere . Weird, but the kids shopping with their mom's looked excited to see a Santa Wonderland set up in the middle of the store. Has Santa really become so busy around the holidays that he has to start putting kids on his knees while kids eat their trick or treat candy?
No use getting upset about it. Instead, if we are going to get all x-massy right now then you should know we have a soup of the day and several tarts that we will give to girls or boys regardless of how naughty or nice they are in their personal lives.
Deck the halls with Manila Clam Chowder for everyone!
Tarts not for Toddlers:
Maple Cream
Apple Cinnamon
Praline Fudge
Coconut Macaroon
Fall Ginger Chocolate
Rocky Road
Lemon
Apple Cobbler
Ho Ho Ho, and all that jazz.
If you want real change, buy a newspaper.
If you want free range, come into 94 Stewart and sample our delicious duck breast.
If you want to be my lover, you got to get with my tarts:
Praline Fudge Tart
Apple Cinnamon
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Maple Cream
If you're looking for some hot stuff baby, order the Manila Clam Chowder.
Come into 94, if you know what I mean.
There's a tendency in the air today to stray away from the norm, to change up the way things are done. Granted, stasis is something we strive for and consider desirable, I think its beneficial not to always maintain equilibrium, all the time.
Why? Because change, is constant..
I read that the bones in our bodies change every 4 hours, cells regenerate continuously literally creating a new you by the moment. Contraction and expansion is everywhere, just look at the way we breath. And 94 Stewart has a new menu almost daily. It's the way the world works, nay the universe.
So what are you doing differently today, tomorrow? And what can be gleamed from thinking outside of the box of consistency?
Things are hopping tonight! Apparently the change in the season makes folks hungry.
Tonight's sinful selection of desserts:
Maple Cream Tart
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Apple Cinnamon Tart
Praline Fudge Tart

More to come on this, but Citysearch has posted their Best of for this year. Thanks to everyone who voted for us! Check it out...
By the time you read this it may already be too late.. Thanksgiving is in cue as November nears, and soon Christmas festivities will commence.
Have you done your Christmas shopping yet?
If you said yes.. Wow.. We must meet!
As the last days of October grace the year we can take this opportunity and remember, it's not over yet! And neither is Urban Eats' 3 for $30.
The holidays can still be started by finishing October with a wonderful evening. Tease your pallet with fall flavors and the creative stylings of 94.
If you said no to Christmas shopping, great we haven't started yet either! You still have plenty of time...or do you..
Desserts today-
Peanut butter with Chocolate Swirl
Gingerbread Tart
Pumpkin Fudge Tart
Coconut Macaroon
Chocolate Covered Cherry
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Soup today-
Parmigiana Reggiano Bisque with Garlic Croutons.
Animals are awesome (SO AWESOME!). And no one can argue with that. The ones on the menu tonight are particularly fantastic! Don't worry, we aren't killing China's pandas (who suffer a low reproductive rate), or clubbing baby seals, or poaching the elephants for their beautiful ivory. No, no, no.
Instead, we have lovely salmon, braised lamb shank, pheasant, pork loin, and a spicy Cajun hanger steak you don't have to feel guilty about consuming.
Also, the soup of the night is a pumpkin with orange. It's so good, it could be just as endangered as the wild jackalope before too long.
The tarts are disappearing fast too. Human consumption is threatening their existence. Unfortunately, nothing can be done to prevent the abolition of :
Macaroon
Cherry Chocolate Chunk
Maple
Brioche Pudding made with Calvados and Served with Warmed Cream
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Valrhona
Peanutbutter with Chocolate Swirl
Caramel Apple Cobbler with Oregon Hazelnuts
Awesome!
No one said it better than Annie Lennox:
"Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you"
Here is the 94 Remix:
"Here comes the tarts again
Falling on my tongue like a memory
Falling in my mouth like a new emotion
I want to eat in the open wind
I want to talk like diners talk
I want to dive into your soup of the day
Is 94 Stewart alright with you"
Like it? Now repeat this song over and over until you come in for dinner. The tarts are:
Macaroon
Cherry Chocolate Chunk
Maple
Brioche Pudding made with Calvados and Served with Warmed Cream
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Valrhona
Peanutbutter with Chocolate Swirl
And the soup ready to dive into is: Pumpkin with Orange

Looks like Rio will be samba-ing all the way to 2016 when they host the Olympic games. Too bad Chicago lost out, but we at 94 Stewart are happy for all the Brazilians around the globe and are doing a little samba dance of our own in their honor.
